Where the GDPR (European Economic Area), the UK GDPR or Swiss data protection law applies, we rely on these legal bases:

PurposeLegal basis
Usage analyticsYour consent where the law requires it (EEA, UK and Switzerland; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); elsewhere, our legitimate interest in understanding how the app is used in order to improve it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Crash reporting and stabilityOur legitimate interest in detecting and fixing errors so the app keeps working (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Personalized adsYour consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); storing or reading identifiers on your device: ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)). Without your consent, ads are not personalized.
Non-personalized ads, ad measurement and fraud preventionOur legitimate interest in funding a free app and keeping ads safe (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Where the law requires consent to store or read information on your device, we ask for it first.

Who receives the data

Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics process the data listed for them above on our behalf, as our processor (service provider), only to provide their service to us.

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK + User Messaging Platform) receives the data listed for it above as an independent controller: it decides how to use it to serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy (Google LLC).

Personalized advertising may count as “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws: you can opt out in About › Privacy options. We never sell your data.

On iPhone, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used if you allow tracking when the app asks (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

International transfers

Google LLC may process data in the United States and other countries. For data from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where those do not apply, on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (transfer terms: Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK + User Messaging Platform); transfer terms: Firebase Crashlytics).

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, rectification or erasure of the data related to your installation, ask us to restrict its processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format, by writing to pedrofrancosas@gmail.com. Uninstalling the app stops all collection and resets the app identifiers.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, in About › Privacy options (shown where the law gives you this choice). Withdrawing does not affect the processing done before.

Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object to the processing at any time (GDPR Art. 21).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work (GDPR Art. 77).

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
